Take Your Chances

Quite a last minute action.
There is a sort of an european encounter from the 7.2.-21.2. and I am so lucky to be able to be a part of it.
It's an encounter of italian, french and german youths. We are meeting for 2 weeks in a convent in LaRochelle. A small town at the west-coast of France. It's about international contact as well as a seminar about economy and ecology. We are having speeches (as well from the minister of education of Luxembourg) in both sections and about the role of the EuropeanUnion. After that we have groupworks. Preparing our own presentations. Then 2 hours freetime and creative group work (making a movie or goldsmith). At night, the different countries are presenting their cukture and food, we are having a disco or other games.

I am such a lucky girl to be able to take part in that!

Everyone who has french lessons in the 5th year are allowed to take part. I guess it'll be about 15 maybe more or less.
Many are joining to whom I am not too close, so it's a great opportunity to get to know them better as well as making international friends.
And not to forget. It's about european economy. And that's something I'll need to emphasize on more in the future. I won't have the time to focus on maths.

The trip is heavily subsidized and we got in last minute. It's still not cheap but HEY, they are so important lecturers! What more do you want?
I am having a interview for a selection to a different program. I hope I can get in a program to start my economics-studies at the Univercity early. I am a bit young but I'll do my very best.
This interview is on the 23.2. and that's like so close to the LaRochelle project. It's like they want me to participate in both.

Some are not joining because they will be missing too many school stuffs.
You don't get a chance to participate in such a seminar of the European Union any day.
And It's a shame those who stutied Latin won't be able to participate.

I'm such a lucky girl.
